W43: Brother Littlefield

Email on a Tuesday?!?!?! 

Yeah so we had a Conference yesterday so we kinda got robbed from our normal pday. But it's ok because it actually ended up being a good day and we had a mini p-day when we returned.

Started our venture to the Conference by hopping on a 3 hour bus in order to head down to Pto. Montt where we met up with other missionaries. A missionary leader from Utah named Shane Littlefield hopped on a zoom call with us for like 5 hours and we just went though all these things about our mission and how we can improve. Apparently he was my dad's MTC teacher so he's been teaching missionaries for a really long time. What we came up with was that we need to "shoot the 3", work with members and have more faith.

Then because my area is too far away from the mission office to go to and from in 1 day we had to stay overnight in Puerto Montt. We ended up staying with the APs and they planned a blitz where we worked every minute. This time I was with Elder Haynie, our other stalwart AP.  We talked about everything we just learned and went and visited people in Puerto Montt. Got home and had to call some missionaries and then ended the workday at 10:30pm. All in all, a good and long day with big plans to improve.

Other than our Conference, it was a fairly normal week. 

We had intercambios and me and Elder Benson made sure everyone got to new areas, caught their bus and a couple other things. I actually had to do an intercambio with an Elder from another zone because we had a lesson planned with a friend.  But then a missionary's bus got delayed so we had to head back to the terminal so we switched those plans and I went with another Elder to teach.  

All in all, I ended up teaching with 4 other missionaries this week that weren't my normal companion. So it was a week to remember.  It's now confirmed that I am in the smallest sector in our mission. But it's going pretty good. 

On a side note I'm going on a side-quest next week to Argentina. I get to leave the country to activate my VISA. So i get to have a mini vacation and I'm going to go to Buenos Aires. I'll make sure to bring my camera and get some really cool photos. I also might try to meet some family members of an Elder in my zone who is from Buenos Aires.
