W68:
Yup, hit 16 months on the mission. So that means I'm 2/3 of the way there but time is lowkey flying. I mean we are already half way through 2025 and it felt like 2025 started 2 weeks ago.
We've just been cooking up here in Coyhaique. We baptized the brother of our recent convert. And this week we are going to baptize a mom and her son. It's pretty awesome to see how happy people are having Christ in their life. Plus we just got a super cool reference from a member so he is now on date for the end up the month.
We received our new mission president. He's from Washington. He's going to come visit our zone next weekend. It'll be kinda weird tho because he's bringing his family and the assistants. So they'll be a party of 8 coming to visit our zone of 10. Pretty interesting ratio ngl.
Honestly nothing interesting has really been happening. Everything is just very repetitive at this point. Like there's not much that's new. I mean I've been eating my breakfast of 4 eggs with 2 potatoes for like a year now. We chop wood for the old ladies of Coyhaique in the morning, work all day and spend P-day looking for socks and taking the bus to Aysen to have district council.
I did go back and read in my journal a little bit. I'm trying to be better about writing every day. I wrote down some pretty funny stuff. So if you aren't already writing a journal you totally should go start writing in a journal.
Hope everyone is doing great.
