W82: New Apartment
Hello everybody. My bad for missing a week. I've been doing a lot of the same stuff every single day so not much to write about! But hey here we are, another week in the gran mision Chile Pto. Montt. Kinda crazy I hit 19 months on the mission. Time keeps getting faster. We had to move houses last week so that was pretty stressful. The home was pretty bare so we had to make all the IKEA furniture and stuff. While moving homes, a lot of the people we were teaching just decided they didn't want to be taught anymore but things that happen so we are starting over.
When I went on intercambios in Puerto Montt we stopped a guy who didn't really want to talk to us but I made him talk to us because there really is nothing more important than hearing about the gospel, right?!? Well, turns out he is going to get baptized soon. So that's pretty cool. People think I am slightly nuts that I talk to everyone, but everyone needs to hear about God.
We're going into spring right now in the southern Hemisphere. There are some days that are still pretty cold and raining but some of the days the sun comes out and it's actually quite nice.
I got bit by 2 more dogs so I decided that I should just go get the rabies shots. It's really not that big of a deal but today I went to get and the nurse cooked my shoulder. As the needle went in I just started twitching like crazy and now it hurts. Chile has free healthcare but it's really not super great. A lot of people just go to the doctor because they have a cough so it takes forever and there is a big doctor shortage so it's really hard to get good healthcare even though it's free.
Slightly unfortunate but my camera has almost stopped working. I think a flex cable in the lense is bad so it has a really hard time focusing and taking pictures. Normally I could just send to cannon but I think I would be done by the time I got it back so that is bummer. Anyways I'm just plugging along here in the south of chile. All the members have started commenting on how little time I have untill I go home. But I try not to listen because it feels like I still have a lot...
