W33: Elections

So I'm waiting to get a haircut right now and I'm currently in a barbershop listening to Chilean rap. I don't understand most of it but it is definitely not mission approved music. One song is called "Blankita Como Nieve", so yeah, go look up the lyrics if you have time and you will know what it was like for me today. This week I had 2 intercambios. One with my Zone Leaders and one with an elder in our District. Our Zone leader, Elder Ramirez, is from Costa Rica and he's super cool. He speaks super good English because he worked for Amazon in customer service before the mission. He's also super tall, considerably taller than me. We probably scared half of the Chileans we tried to talk to. We ended up making lentils to finish the intercambio and they turned out super good. Then I had another intercambio with Elder Vasquez. W8: Truckin in Quellon

Hellooooooo  OK what's going on you guys....I'm back with another email. This was my first full week in the field and it has been a ot of walking around trying to find people to talk to.  We didn't really know a lot of people in the area since we were both new. The only way to try and get to know them was to walk to their houses and try and get to know them. And because I live in a place that rains all the time, that means walking in the rain a lot!  Like it rains everyday. So a lot of my days are spent walking around in the rain trying to find people to teach about Jesus.  The rain would be worse but I wear a waterproof coat every time I leave the house with at least 3 layers, my waterproof boots and waterproof backpack.  We don't use an umbrella and usually stay pretty dry. My pocket size scriptures sometimes get wet when I take them out of my pocket so I dry them when I get home. If anything the extra layers just make me look a lot more buff so I'm hoping I w...

W77: Chao Chao

Soooooo yeah im gone no more coyhaique After 6 months in the best sector in the mission its finally time for me to leave. We had the cambio call and im going to Osorno to be comps with my first companion E. Cresap!! Its crazy because we were comps in the online ccm for like a day. But then I got put into another district. Its going to be hype. The only bummer is I don't have any lunch in my new sector so if somebody wants to buy me lunch I will love you forever.
