W66: Answered Prayers

We had the cambio call this morning and my prayers were answered....I'm staying in Coyhaique with Elder Parronchi for another cambio. Nobody stays 3 transfers in Coyhaique but God it good. The members are great, miracles are happening and we get fed well so life can't get much better. I'm killing Elder Parronchi which means that hes going home at the end of this next cambio. So we're going to work harder than we've ever worked as his farewell gift.....President Bensen said "One of the greatest secrets of missionary work is work!" Let's Go! We had a crazy week with the whole end of the cambio thing. We also had to make sure that we got one of our friends to church because she didn't go to church last week and she needed to get confirmed because the family got sick. FAREWELL TALK AND PARTY

2/25/2024 FAREWELL TALK Good morning brothers and sisters. I have been called to serve in the Puerto Montt Chile mission. My mission is so far south that in one of my areas there will be more penguins than people.  I will start home MTC next Monday, March 4th. Then I will depart for the Mexico MTC on march 13th for 6 weeks of jam packed missionary training. I then leave the MTC for the mission field on April 19th. I am super excited to serve the people of Chile and it will definitely be an adventure.  Before I go any further I want to take some time to thank some people. First I want to Thank my seminary teachers. A lot of the time I was only thinking about how early I had to get to seminary I didn’t actually realize that they had to get there earlier.  I want to thank Brother Cropper, and Brother Harlow who put up with a lot of black screens and muted mics on zoom. W57: 3 Day Old Mistake

We went to Pto Montt again last week, but this time we went with the whole Zone. It was actually kinda crazy because my comp was on a standby ticket, so he didn't actually have a seat and almost got left in the sector which would have been bad because then I would have had to get off the flight in order to stay with him. But it all worked out because God takes care of his missionaries on flights and he ended up getting a seat. We stayed with some of my favorite Elders in Pto. Montt pretty much hashing over what we were going to teach for Zone Conference. Overall a pretty W experience. One of the missionary's just got back from Santiago for Visa stuff and he brought back tacobell. It was like the holy grail. Before you judge, remember I have not had Taco Bell in like over a year and so when he offered me a beefy 5 layer burrito my brain might not have been fully functioning and I was all for it.
